Tatami Superior

A red mizuhiki pendant light greets you at the entrance to the Tatami Superior Room.

The room is decorated with sarusuberi(Crape myrtle), which are characterized by their twisting, turning, and slippery trunks.

It is the most compact room in so,KANAZAWA, but can accommodate up to 4 people.

Family Superior

The theme of this room is the red pine tree, a symbol of longevity.

It is decorated with “pine trees and cranes,” a work by a sculptor of Kanazawa butsudan, which is designated as a national traditional craft.

The room has a small tatami room, making it a user-friendly space for children.

A kitchen and washing machine are available, making it ideal for a long-term stay for one or two people.

Family Delux(Bamboo)

Rooms with a “bamboo” theme incorporating plenty of bamboo art.

All of the works are natural and cute, created by female artists, so the rooms have a warmth that is typical of Kanazawa.

Four single beds and two sets of futons can be laid out on the small tatami floor.

Family Delux(Pagoda-tree)

This room is themed “Enju” (Japanese pagoda tree).

Enju is considered a “tree of good luck” and is sometimes planted as a garden tree in the direction of the demon’s gate or at the entrance.

There may be a cute demon lurking somewhere in this room as well…

There are four single beds and a small tatami room space centered around a bench with a dyed seating surface that gives a sense of craftsmanship.

This room is easy to use for both families and friends.

Sakura Suite

A pink cherry blossom-themed room with a cherry tree at the bedside.

The fluttering butterflies on the wall are made from a row of sea urchin-colored cherry shells found on the Masuhoura beach on the Noto Peninsula.

The stools with beautiful softly carved legs are made of textiles from the Danish manufacturer Kvadrat, designed by Mina Perhonen.

Other features include sliding door paper “Shibazakura” with a Kanazawa karakami pattern and flower wall decorations made of brass by Hatsuyuki and Pokke, making this room pretty in every way.
